I visited for a blow-dry and manicure. The blow-dry was acceptable but very average for the price. Unfortunately, the manicure was extremely disappointing. The nail technician was rude and dismissive, did not properly remove the old polish, clean the cuticles, or shape the nails evenly. The polish was applied carelessly, and the final result looked unfinished and unprofessional. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was not working and the salon was extremely hot. I paid €120 for both services, which was far from justified by the quality received. Very disappointing experience overall.

My sister and I both desperately needed some hair cutting and attention after 10 days into our 3 week stay in Paris. Because we were staying nearby, but have Australian phone numbers, we couldn't use the website to book appointments. So we simply walked to the salon and talked to the manager. Her English was better than my French! Hairdressing has a different vocabulary and it's helpful to try to work out first what you want, but she understood our needs. We were able to make an appointment for the next day. My sister has large natural curls and her hair can be tricky, but with patience we absolutely got what we wanted. They are careful and conservative! She now has a beautiful cut that has restored her curls. My hair is straight and an easy bob cut, and it looks great now as well. We were also very happy to buy some quality products to maintain our hair, and to meet Arthur, the little salon dog. It was a wonderful adventure that stretched my French to the limit, but what a great outcome!
